Our process · From brief to shipment
A successful order starts with a shared understanding. We align product requirements, samples, specifications, production milestones and shipment details so buyers and our team work from the same plan.
A structured order journey
Bays International is an India-based manufacturer and exporter of home textiles, kitchen textiles, apparel and handicrafts. Our process is designed to keep buyer requirements visible as an order moves through development, production, inspection and export preparation.
Exact production steps vary by product category, construction and confirmed specification. We agree the relevant steps, approvals and responsibilities with the buyer before the order moves into bulk production.
The order journey
Each step builds on agreed details from the previous stage, helping reduce ambiguity before the order advances.
Tell us what you want to make: product category, reference images, dimensions, materials, colours, target quantity, destination country and delivery expectations.
Discuss construction, materials, finishes, branding and packaging options. The team reviews the brief and clarifies details needed to develop a suitable product.
Where sampling is required, review the sample against the agreed brief. Confirm measurements, colour, material, workmanship, labels and other relevant details before bulk production.
Align the final specification, quantity, commercial terms, milestones, packing requirements and expected timeline. Record the approvals needed during production.
Production follows the confirmed order details. Quality checks can be planned around the approved sample and agreed criteria, with issues reviewed before the order proceeds.
Prepare the goods according to agreed packing and labelling instructions, coordinate shipment documents and arrange dispatch in line with the confirmed order and destination.
Built around your specification
Product dimensions, construction, yarn or fabric composition, colour references, design details and finish are discussed according to the category.
Private-label requirements may include labels, tags, barcodes, assortment, retail packaging, carton marks and other buyer-specific instructions.
Define the approved sample, inspection points and acceptance criteria relevant to the product. Testing or third-party inspection can be discussed where required.
Review target dates, production milestones, destination requirements and shipment documentation early so the order plan is based on agreed expectations.
Our core categories include home textiles such as rugs, bath mats, cushions, bedding and throws; kitchen textiles such as towels, aprons and table linen; apparel such as T-shirts and pyjama sets; and handicrafts including woven and handmade home accents. The production route is adapted to the product and order.
Before you place an order
Share the product, approximate quantity, reference images or technical pack, materials, sizes, destination country and target timeline. Mention branding and packaging needs if known.
Custom development and private-label requirements can be discussed. Share the design, material, finish, label and packaging details so the team can review the scope.
For orders that require sampling, the sample and specification should be reviewed and approved before bulk production begins. The approval route depends on the product and order.
Quality checkpoints and acceptance criteria are agreed according to the product, approved sample and buyer requirements. Specific testing or inspection arrangements should be confirmed for each order.
Export shipment coordination, packing, labelling and applicable documentation can be discussed as part of the order plan and destination requirements.
